We catch the ferry to Wexford for an overnight stay before we continue our journey.

We make our way to Bantry Bay, once we arrive enjoy the rest of your day exploring the harbour and all Bantry has to offer.

We take a boat trip to Garnish Island and Italianate Garden. Garnish island is located in the sheltered harbour of Glengarriff in Bantry Bay. Garnish is world renowned for its gardens which are laid out in beautiful walks and it has some stunning specimen plants which are rare in this climate.

Mizen Signal Station and Visitor Centre to visit one of the most spectacular headlands. You will find a café and shop and views of the waves pounding the shore.

We head back to Wexford for an overnight stay, before we catch the ferry and head for home.

The Maritime Hotel sits on the edge of Bantry Bay and a short walk to the restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. The hotel has a restaurant and bar as well as it’s own spa facilities with swimming pool.

Bantry Bay located in west Cork is a beautiful harbour town with picturesque scenery. A popular base for visitors to explore the stunning lands. Its location on the Wild Atlantic Way touring route means there are many passing through, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to visit during your stay.
