We head to Gretna Green for our first overnight stay at the Gretna Green Hotel.

Heading on to the highlands the next day where we board the Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig and enjoy a couple of free hours here before we board for the return journey.

Then there is a free day to explore the area at your leisure.

We also enjoy a nostalgic train journey through the Cairngorm National Park.

Our main hotel the Duke of Gorden Hotel is situated in the town of Kingussie and the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. The hotel formally a Coaching Inn built in the 19th century has since been extended and converted into the hotel you see today, equipped with all modern amenities and even used to film ‘Monarch of the Glen’.

Kingussie is a small town situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and within the stunning Cairngorms National Park, Kingussie is a lively town with so much to see and do. You will find stunning landscapes, dramatic scenery and an abundance of invigorating Highland air.
