The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is an annual series of military tattoos performed by British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands, and artistic performance teams on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in the capital of Scotland.
Each performance begins with a fanfare, usually composed for that year's show. The Mass Pipes and Drums, then perform, marching through the gatehouse of the castle and performing a traditional pipe band set. Then, the shows featured acts perform individually.
This day will be on a B&B basis only as you’ll be enjoying the Military Tattoo.

The Golden Jubilee Hotel is 4 star hotel on the outskirts of Glasgow and just 20 minutes from Glasgow Town Centre. The hotel is an NHS owned hotel where many of the hotel rooms have been refurbished. Overnight guests also get access to the Centre for health and wellbeing where you can use the pool, sauna and gym.
Glasgow is our base for this trip, known for its Victorian architecture, nightlife and music is a great place to explore. The town centre lies north of the River Clyde and has plenty of shops, bars and eateries for all to enjoy.
